The game launched on September 26 in 68 countries, reaching Japan on October 4. In Japan, Palworld outperformed major titles like Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and Metaphor: ReFantazio. It ranked first in October downloads, while in the US and Canada, it placed tenth, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leading the charts. The lawsuit, filed in September, claims patent infringement by Pocketpair. The developer plans to continue its legal defense and aims to support indie developers in their creative efforts.
