Pakistan PM establishes task force to counter propaganda campaign

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established a Joint Task Force (JTF) to address a campaign aimed at discrediting Pakistan and its security forces. The task force will be led by the chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. The formation of the JTF follows recent terrorist activities and a smear campaign using local and international media. The campaign allegedly spreads false information to portray state institutions negatively and create divisions within the country. The 10-member team will include officials from various government departments and security agencies. The prime minister has instructed the JTF to report its findings within 10 days and take action against those responsible.
