Pakistan Navy rescues Iranian fishing dhow with 23 fishermen in Gulf of Aden

The Pakistan Navy's ship Zulfiquar rescued an Iranian fishing dhow with 23 fishermen stranded in the Gulf of Aden. The vessel, AL Muhammadi, had a seriously injured crew member and a malfunctioning engine when it called for help. PNS Zulfiquar dispatched medical and technical teams to provide first aid and repair the engine. Two additional crew members received medical assistance during the operation. Earlier this year, the Pakistan Navy also rescued eight Iranian fishermen from a burning boat. This ongoing cooperation highlights the mutual support between Iran and Pakistan in maritime rescue operations.
