P Ananth becomes South Western Railway general manager

P Ananth has assumed charge as the new General Manager of South Western Railway. Ananth, an IRSME officer, succeeds Mukul Saran Mathur and brings extensive experience in railway operations and IT systems. He previously served as Additional General Manager for SWR. His career includes roles at the Railway Board, Banaras Locomotive Works, and as General Manager at CRIS, where he developed critical railway software.
