Owlet unveils new e-bike and moped hybrid set for 2024 launch

Owlet has introduced a new prototype called the Owlet One, which combines features of an e-bike and a moped. Weighing 84 lbs, it has a unique adjustable wheelbase and a powerful 750W motor, reaching speeds up to 30 mph. The Owlet One is categorized as a motorized scooter, requiring a driver's license to operate. It has no pedals, only pegs, and offers a range of 40-60 miles on a single charge. The bike is expected to ship around March 2024, pending preorders. The price is set at $3,995, with early reservations available for $2,995. Owlet plans to establish service locations in Los Angeles and New York, shipping bikes directly to customers.
