Over one crore devotees visit Ayodhya during festival week

Ayodhya has seen over one crore devotees visit between January 26 and February 3, marking a new record. On Basant Panchami, many took ritual baths in the Saryu river and offered prayers at local temples. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assigned a team to manage the influx of pilgrims. The Ram Temple is open for 18 hours daily, with long queues for darshan. Special arrangements have been made for crowd control and safety. Celebrations included vibrant rituals with colors and offerings to the deity. Authorities are monitoring the area continuously and have set up shelters for those in need, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors.
