Oshkosh recalls new mail carrier vans over potential wheel detachment issue

Oshkosh is recalling 40 new mail carrier vans due to a manufacturing defect that could cause rear wheels to detach. The issue stems from a double-torqued hub fastener that may loosen, leading to brake rotor separation. The recall affects both electric and gas models produced last year. The affected vehicles are exclusively for the USPS and are under warranty. Oshkosh will provide repair procedures for the faulty fasteners.
