Optimus Energy manages over 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity through its virtual power plant

Optimus Energy now manages over 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity through its Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform. The company, part of the GEK TERNA Group, integrated this capacity within its first eight months of operation. This VPP platform aims to optimize renewable energy integration and manage market participation effectively. Optimus Energy's next goal is to expand its managed portfolio to 2 GW. The VPP helps producers avoid penalties and manage negative pricing periods.
