Opposition leaders in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa reject proposed governor's rule
Opposition leaders in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are against the proposed imposition of Governor's Rule, stating it will not resolve ongoing crises. They emphasize the need for an All-Parties Conference to address peace, following recent violence in the region. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi noted he was not consulted about the potential governor's rule and expressed concern over rising terrorism. He criticized the federal government for neglecting KP's security issues while political tensions escalate. Both leaders condemned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party for its actions and called for the implementation of the National Action Plan to restore order. They stressed that lasting peace requires collective efforts, not temporary measures.
