Oppo Reno X leak reveals 16:9 display and 81mm screen width

gsmarena.com —

A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that Oppo's rumored wide-screen flagship smartphone, possibly called the Reno X, will feature a 16:9 display aspect ratio, a departure from the taller screens common on modern phones. The device is said to have ultra-narrow bezels of about 1mm, a screen width of 81mm, and a total body width of roughly 85mm. The tipster previously suggested a 6.3 to 6.4-inch display with a 16:10 ratio, but the latest information points to a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen. Huawei's Pura X View, currently the only wide-screen non-folding phone on the market, has a 5:3 display and an 87mm wide body, meaning Oppo's rumored device could be taller and narrower in comparison.
