One million property owners face ENFIA tax changes in Greece

Approximately one million property owners will see changes in their ENFIA tax assessments this year, with many experiencing reductions or full exemptions. The most significant change involves properties in over 13,000 settlements, where the ENFIA tax will be reduced by 50% for primary residences in smaller communities, and fully abolished from 2027. Additional reductions are available for insured properties and those meeting certain income criteria, while owners of newly acquired properties or those who regularized illegal constructions may see an increase.
