Oleksii Hnatkovskyi explains why he rarely acts in films and TV series

Ukrainian actor and TV host Oleksii Hnatkovskyi revealed why he rarely appears in films or television series, citing reputation and ideological objections as key reasons. He has only starred in the film "Dovbush" and the series "Kava z Kardamonom. Syla Zemli." Hnatkovskyi explained in an interview that he rejects roles when scripts are empty, embarrassing, or portray Ukrainians negatively, and he prioritizes theater performances over filming schedules. He refuses to cancel shows for shoots, telling producers he would cancel them instead. The actor emphasized that reputation matters more than money, stating "a name is worth more than money" in today's world. He accepted hosting the show "Zradnyky" because he considers it one of Ukraine's highest-quality and most intellectual television products.
