Ohio Senate race sees tight contest with Brown leading Moreno by 1 point

Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown leads Republican Bernie Moreno by just 1 percentage point in Ohio's Senate race, with Brown at 47.4% and Moreno at 46.4%. This race is the most expensive in the country, totaling over $425 million. Brown has significantly outspent Moreno, with $86 million compared to Moreno's $21 million. Outside spending is also high, with Moreno receiving $154 million and Brown $137 million. Brown has recently shifted his stance on some of President Biden's policies. In contrast, former President Trump won Ohio by larger margins in the last two elections and currently leads in polls for the presidential race.
