Knicks forward OG Anunoby has partnered with London Mayor Sadiq Khan to refurbish public basketball courts in his birthplace, aiming to support aspiring players. Born in Harlesden, Anunoby left at age four. The project’s first court, Argyle Square in Camden, is a pilot under Khan’s London Basketball Taskforce, backed by a nearly £2 million investment announced in January. Anunoby won the 2026 NBA Championship with the Knicks, averaging 20.1 playoff points. He is widely considered Britain’s greatest NBA player, ahead of Luol Deng and others.
