Nvidia prototype GPU leak reveals powerful specs and high power demands

A prototype Nvidia GPU, named GB202-200-A1, has been leaked, reportedly featuring 24,576 shader units and 192 streaming processors. This model is expected to be more powerful than the current RTX 5090, which has 21,760 shader units. The new GPU has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 800 watts, a 39 percent increase from the RTX 5090's 575 watts. It also boasts higher clock speeds, with base and boost clocks of 2,100MHz and 2,514MHz, compared to the RTX 5090's 2,010MHz and 2,410MHz. The GB202-200-A1 is expected to have 32GB of GDDR7 memory. There is speculation about its market name, with possibilities including RTX 5090 Ti or a new Titan series entry.
