Nubia launches affordable foldable phones in Japan

Nubia has launched two new foldable smartphones, the Nubia Fold and Nubia Flip, in Japan. These devices are positioned as more affordable alternatives to existing foldable phones. The Nubia Fold features an 8-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch external display, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 12GB RAM. The Nubia Flip3 boasts a 6.9-inch internal screen and a 4-inch external display, running on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset with 6GB RAM. Both phones run Android 15 and are IP54 rated. Sales begin in Japan in mid-January 2026, with pricing for the Flip3 yet to be announced.
