Nottinghamshire villagers celebrate return of 300 bus route

The 300 bus route in Nottinghamshire, cancelled in August, will resume service on 7 September under new operator Nottingham Minibuses and Coaches, delighting villagers who had campaigned for its return. The route, linking villages between Lowdham and Newark, stopped when former operator CT4N entered administration, leaving many residents, including 78-year-old Daphne Harbridge, feeling "cut off" without transport options. Residents plan to ride the bus together on its first day to celebrate, while other CT4N routes have also been replaced by different operators following the company's collapse.
