Northern Manitoba Blizzard beat Greater Sudbury Cubs after collapse

The Blizzard scored five goals in the final period after the Cubs had held a lead. The Cubs initially took the lead with a power-play goal, but the Blizzard tied the game in the second period. Greater Sudbury regained the lead early in the third, only for Northern Manitoba to respond with two power-play goals and three more unanswered goals. The Cubs, now with a 1-1-0 record, will play the Trenton Golden Hawks on Monday. The Blizzard outshot the Cubs 35-21 in the game.
