North Korean troops in Russian uniforms move toward Ukraine, US reports

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that North Korean troops, dressed in Russian uniforms and equipped with Russian gear, are moving toward Ukraine. This development raises concerns about the potential escalation of the conflict. Austin stated that some North Korean forces have already reached Russia's Kursk region, near Ukraine. The U.S. estimates around 11,000 North Korean troops are now in Russia, with over 3,000 near combat zones. Both Austin and South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun called for North Korea to withdraw its troops. They also discussed enhancing military cooperation and deterrence strategies in response to the evolving situation.
