Normandy's Château d'Audrieu gets prestigious renovation
The historic Château d'Audrieu, a classified monument, has undergone a prestigious renovation to preserve its architectural heritage. The project included replacing windows dating back to the building's original construction. The Calvados Department supported the renovation, contributing €41,753 to the project, which cost a total of €208,767. The work, which included replacing windows, was carried out by a DRAC-approved artisan. The Château, a Relais & Châteaux hotel, will be featured in the "Pierres en Lumières" event on May 17th. The Department's involvement reflects a commitment to preserving and promoting the region's heritage.
