Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka mourns father Leonard Chukwuka's death

Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha announced the death of her father, Leonard Ndukaife Chukwuka, in an emotional social media post on Friday, October 2, 2026. In her post, Chioma described her late father as her "daddy," "papa'm," and "comfort," and reflected on losing her mother 13 years ago, saying the thought of having neither parent now breaks her heart. She expressed gratitude that her father lived a long life and saw his children and grandchildren. Chioma said she kept the news private while processing her grief and appealed for prayers for her family. She added that funeral arrangements would be announced later. Her mother, Grace Egoyibo Chukwuka, died in May 2013.
