Over 18,000 Nizhny Novgorod residents underwent oral cancer screenings last year, with 34 confirmed cases of oncology. The screenings, utilizing autofluorescent stomatoscopes, identified 193 oral neoplasms. Certain groups, including smokers and HPV carriers, require annual check-ups. The region purchased 38 new devices for these quick, 2-3 minute examinations, which are generally recommended every three years.
