Nissan starts exporting left-hand drive Magnite from India

Nissan Motor India has started exporting over 10,000 units of the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) New Nissan Magnite from its Chennai plant. The first shipment of nearly 2,900 units went to select markets in Latin America in January 2025. In February 2025, more than 7,100 additional units are set to be exported to the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Asia Pacific. This brings the total to 10,000 units by the end of the month. Previously, Nissan had begun exporting the Right-Hand Drive (RHD) Magnite to South Africa, shipping over 2,700 units shortly after its launch in India. The new LHD exports mark a significant expansion in Nissan's global operations.
