Nintendo sues streamer for millions over alleged piracy of unreleased games

Nintendo has sued streamer EveryGameGuru for allegedly broadcasting gameplay of pirated games before their official release. The lawsuit claims he streamed at least 10 titles illegally over 50 times since 2022, including "Mario & Luigi: Brothership" and "Super Mario Jamboree." EveryGameGuru reportedly provided links to illegal ROMs and piracy tools, including emulators and decryption keys. Despite having videos removed from various platforms, he continued streaming and created new accounts to evade bans. Nintendo is seeking $150,000 in damages for each copyright violation, which could total millions due to the number of alleged infractions.
