Nine injured in Kolkata bus crash involving multiple vehicles

Nine people were injured when a private bus crashed into several vehicles in Kolkata on Tuesday. The bus driver reported brake failure while exiting the Vidyasagar Setu. The bus first collided with a sedan, causing a chain reaction that involved a mini-truck and an app cab. The mini-truck overturned during the incident. After hitting a tree, the bus came to a stop. The driver attempted to escape but was caught by traffic police and handed over to local authorities.
