New Zealand woman finds ants in clothing package from Australia

A New Zealand woman received a package of clothing infested with ants, causing her distress and leading to a viral video. The customer ordered three dresses online from an Australian fashion brand. Upon opening the package in her bedroom, she discovered numerous ants crawling on the clothes and her bed. The fashion brand apologized, issued a refund and store credit, and is investigating. Biosecurity New Zealand confirmed the ants were a common Australian species already present in New Zealand and posed no risk.
