New South Wales crown prosecutors back Director of Public Prosecutions Sally Dowling

Over 120 NSW crown prosecutors publicly support Director of Public Prosecutions Sally Dowling after a report alleged she leaked information and misled parliament. The parliamentary inquiry found Ms. Dowling authorized a leak to a radio station impacting a judge, and subsequently gave false evidence. The Attorney-General believes her testimony. The allegations stem from a leak about a judge allowing an offender to give an Acknowledgement of Country before sentencing. Other DPPs and former DPPs also support Ms. Dowling.
