New rules remove 20-second limit for kickouts

The Football Review Committee has updated rules regarding kick-outs and frees, removing the 20-second time limit for goalkeepers. Referees will now use their discretion to assess time-wasting instead of enforcing a strict guideline. New rules for solo and go plays state that if a player fumbles the ball during a toe-tap, the play is canceled, and a free kick is awarded. Players must also complete the toe-tap within four meters of the foul. Additionally, goalkeepers must be replaced if sent off, ensuring a team always has a goalkeeper on the field. Dissent from players will not result in a 50-meter advancement of the ball for minor comments.
