New roundworm species discovered in Great Salt Lake

A new microscopic roundworm species, Diplolaimelloides woaabi, has been discovered in the Great Salt Lake. This discovery marks the third animal group found to survive the lake's extreme salinity, alongside brine shrimp and brine flies. Researchers are investigating its origins.
