New Mexico wins Mountain West quarterfinals, Dent stars

New Mexico defeated San Jose State 63-52 in the Mountain West Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Donovan Dent led the Lobos with 25 points and five assists, contributing significantly to their victory. Nelly Junior Joseph scored 14 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for New Mexico. Tru Washington added 11 points, while Sadaidriene Hall led San Jose State with 13 points and eight rebounds. New Mexico took control of the game in the first half and maintained the lead throughout. They were ahead 32-23 at halftime and extended their lead with an 8-0 run in the second half.
