New GP Marina Mema joins Tolentino practice on August 10

Tolentino has a new general practitioner: 25-year-old Marina Mema, from Belforte, will officially begin work on August 10 at the Fisiomed associated medical practice. She joins the team alongside Stefano Gobbi, Fabio Falconi, and Lorenzo Fagotti. The appointment addresses a months-long shortage of family doctors in the community, caused by a retirement and contract terminations. Mema's arrival follows the departures of Daniele Domizi, Marco Pezzanesi, and Franco Cencetti, which forced the Macerata health authority to set up an extraordinary daytime clinic. Gobbi welcomed Mema, praising her enthusiasm for general medicine and thanking the local health authority for making her operational quickly. The new doctor represents a key step toward restoring primary care stability in the area.
