New clasp system secures Rolex watches against theft

French company Okros has developed a new clasp system called Watchlock to secure Rolex watches and prevent theft. This system features a micro-locking mechanism that locks the watch to the wrist, making it difficult for thieves to remove. The Watchlock is made from stainless steel and requires a key to operate. When the key is removed, the clasp locks in place. It is currently available for select Rolex models, including the Airking and Daytona, and costs about 680 euros (around $708). While the product aims to enhance security, it requires some assembly and comes with tools for installation. Questions about its practicality remain, particularly regarding the need for the key while traveling.
