New certification identifies authentic Spanish restaurants in Italy

A new certification, "Restaurants from Spain," launched in 2020, helps identify authentic Spanish cuisine abroad. This official seal recognizes restaurants serving quality Spanish food and upholding culinary traditions. The "Restaurants from Spain" initiative, by ICEX, aims to promote genuine Spanish gastronomy globally. Currently, over 500 restaurants worldwide bear this mark, with nine now certified in Italy, including four new additions this past year. These certified restaurants, such as Sevilla Mia in Milan and CasaLoca in Rome, act as ambassadors for Spanish culture, offering diners an authentic taste of Spain through traditional dishes and quality ingredients.
