New 1,000-foot roller coaster in development to break height records

A new 1,000-foot-tall roller coaster is in development by an undisclosed manufacturer, aiming to break all height and speed records. This project is still secretive, with the final location yet to be announced. Currently, the tallest operating coaster is the 415-foot Superman: Escape from Krypton. The new coaster would be twice as tall as any existing ride, surpassing the upcoming 640-foot Falcon’s Flight set to open in 2025. Technological advancements have made this ambitious project possible. The coaster will feature a unique braking system and will require a large area for its track and launch.
