Neubrandenburg hospital receives 30 million euros for emergency department renovation

Neubrandenburg's Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Klinikum received over 30 million euros in funding for its emergency department. The funds are intended for the long-awaited renovation and expansion of the hospital's central emergency care facilities, which handle approximately 40,000 patients annually. The funding was announced by Health Minister Stefanie Drese during the farewell of long-time hospital director Gudrun Kappich, who is retiring after 40 years.
