Netflix docuseries exposes exploitation in child influencing

Netflix will release a new docuseries titled "Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing" on April 9. The series examines allegations of abuse involving child influencer Piper Rockelle and her mother, Tiffany Smith, who managed her career. The docuseries focuses on the experiences of Rockelle's former friends, known as The Squad. It highlights claims of exploitation and manipulation by Smith, who orchestrated much of Rockelle's rise to fame. Rockelle, now 17, gained popularity through her YouTube channel and social media, reportedly earning over half a million dollars monthly at her peak. The series aims to reveal the darker aspects of child influencing.
