Netflix cancels mobile release of Tales of the Shire and other games

Netflix will not release at least six games, including Tales of the Shire, on its mobile platform. While these games will not be available on mobile, some, like Don't Starve Together and Lab Rat, can be played on other platforms. Tales of the Shire is set to launch in March on Steam and consoles. Netflix's co-CEO stated the company aims to develop more recognizable games, including licensed titles and original content. The company has previously released narrative games based on popular shows and plans to expand this approach.
