Nestlé is acquiring full ownership of Yfood, a German manufacturer of meal replacement drinks. The Swiss food giant, which already held a 49% stake, announced this week its intention to purchase the remaining shares. Yfood, founded in 2017, operates in 30 countries and reported approximately 150 million euros in revenue for 2025. Yfood markets its drinks as "complete meal replacements," with each bottle containing around 500 calories. Consumer advocates have previously criticized the product's composition, and its Nutri-score rating has been downgraded.
