During the broadcast, NBC mistakenly displayed Salonga's name over child actress Olivia Perez. The error was quickly corrected when the camera focused on Salonga, who received applause for her performance. Salonga recently announced her new holiday album, "Sounding Joy," featuring Christmas classics and a duet with Clay Aiken. She will also embark on a holiday tour in select North American cities this December.
