NBA chose McCain as Finals social media correspondent

The NBA announced Jared McCain of the Philadelphia 76ers as a "player correspondent" for Game 1 of the Pacers-Thunder series. He will provide coverage for NBA social media. McCain, a rookie with a large social media following, will offer on-the-ground reporting. The program aims to give players media experience. Other players will cover subsequent games in the Finals. This program allows players to gain media experience. Tyrese Maxey, also of the 76ers, previously participated in the program during the 2022 Finals.
