The Natural History Museum in Los Angeles has opened its new NHM Commons, featuring a 75-foot-long dinosaur skeleton named Gnatalie. This is the first green dinosaur on display worldwide and the most complete sauropod on the West Coast. The NHM Commons also includes an 80-foot mural titled “L.A. History: A Mexican Perspective” and a theater for performances. The $75 million project aims to enhance the cultural landscape of Exposition Park, located near the upcoming Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. In addition to the museum's opening, holiday performances of "The Nutcracker" and "A Christmas Carol" are set to take place across Los Angeles. Other events include a photography exhibition on skateboarding and hip-hop culture at HVW8 Art + Design Gallery.
