NATO enhances High North security with Arctic Sentry initiative

NATO launched Arctic Sentry to enhance High North security, following tensions over U.S. annexation threats to Greenland. The initiative will label national military exercises, like Denmark's Arctic Endurance and Norway's Cold Response, to counter Russian and Chinese influence in the strategically vital region. The UK will double its troop deployment to Norway, with France and Germany also participating, aiming to refocus on Russia's war in Ukraine.
