Nashville investigates fatal shooting as possible self-defense
Nashville authorities are investigating a May 10 shooting death as a potential act of self-defense after a 48-year-old man was killed. The incident occurred when 60-year-old James Green shot the man after he reportedly knocked on Green's door and refused to leave. Green claims the man reached for an object in his waistband during a physical altercation. Green, who called 911 before the shooting, is not currently charged. The District Attorney's office is reviewing the case to determine if the shooting was justified.
