NASA's Lunar Trailblazer mission prepares to launch and study Moon's water resources
NASA's Lunar Trailblazer mission is set to launch next year to investigate the Moon's water. It aims to map the abundance, location, and form of lunar water, addressing questions about its origins and the Moon's water cycle.
The spacecraft will use two instruments: the High-resolution Volatiles and Minerals Moon Mapper and the Lunar Thermal Mapper. Together, they will analyze the Moon's surface and track changes in water distribution over time.
Lunar Trailblazer recently passed critical tests and is now preparing for its launch alongside another lunar mission. This mission is part of NASA's efforts to enhance understanding of lunar resources for future exploration.
