NASA showcases stunning satellite images of Earth's diverse landscapes

NASA has released a collection of stunning images showcasing Earth's diverse landscapes from above. The collection includes photos taken by various satellites and astronauts on the International Space Station. One notable image features the Dasht-e Kavir, or Great Salt Desert, in Iran. This desert is the 24th largest in the world and offers a unique view when captured from space. The Landsat 7 satellite, which operated from 1999 to 2024, is among the tools used to capture these images. Other satellites have also contributed to this visual documentation of Earth.
