NASA, ISRO launched NISAR Earth monitoring satellite

NASA and ISRO launched the NISAR satellite for Earth monitoring. The $1.5 billion NISAR mission, a joint US-Indian effort, will precisely track changes in ecosystems, land, and ice. It launched on an Indian rocket and will map the entire surface in 12 days.
