NASA highlights bright planets and moon alignments in February skywatching guide

NASA has announced that February will feature a variety of visible planets alongside the moon. Venus, Jupiter, and Mars are easily spotted, with Venus shining brightly in the west after sunset. The moon will have several notable alignments with planets throughout the month. Saturn will be visible low in the west, while Mercury will appear about 20 minutes after sunset, especially prominent on February 24. Binoculars or telescopes are recommended for a better view of Mercury and Saturn, though they can be seen with the naked eye under clear conditions.
