NASA astronauts to share Expedition 71 experiences at welcome home event in Houston

Four NASA astronauts will participate in a welcome home event at Space Center Houston on December 4, 2024. They recently returned from Expedition 71 aboard the International Space Station, where they spent 235 days in space. The astronauts—Matthew Dominick, Mike Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and Tracy C. Dyson—will discuss their mission highlights and recognize contributors to their success. The event is free and open to the public, starting at 6 p.m. CST. Expedition 71 included significant research, such as bioprinting human tissues and studying neurological organoids. The crew completed 3,760 orbits and traveled 100 million miles before splashing down off Florida on October 25, 2024.
