Nantes prosecutors open criminal investigations into sexual violence at Saint-Stanislas college-lycée

Nantes prosecutors will open criminal investigations into sexual violence allegations at Saint-Stanislas college-lycée. Thirty-one letters have been received by the Nantes prosecutor's office regarding the allegations, primarily concerning events in the 1960s. Nine individuals, mostly clergy, are implicated. These investigations follow earlier reports and the formation of a victims' collective, with past reports estimating hundreds of thousands of minors were victims of sexual violence within the Church.
