Nancy Traynor links collision trauma to husband's cancer
Nancy Traynor shared a victim impact statement about her late husband, Thomas Traynor, who was severely injured in a motorcycle collision in January 2020. The crash resulted in the death of his friend and left Tom with lasting trauma. Tom underwent 22 surgeries and ultimately had his leg amputated. He was later diagnosed with bladder cancer, which progressed rapidly, leading to his death in April 2022. Nancy believes the trauma from the collision contributed to his illness. The family continues to feel the loss deeply, with significant milestones now missing Tom. Nancy expressed the emotional toll on their family and her struggle to cope without him.
